This is a portrait i did for a the lady in the picture and her dog. The dog was pretty hard, but i think its ok for now. Im getting alot of practice these days, it feels like summer is almost over, time flies..

Im finally on summer break! so im getting a bit of my own studies in. I did this portrait of my friend Ivy, i tried exaggerate what i saw from the photo. I think it still needs work but its done for now! Its my first digital portrait soo, i cant wait to do moree. (time is so limited in the life of an artist, sigh). My process work for this is below, it doesnt really make sense but i thought id share it, i need to work in a more consistent way, but its just so fun this way, well, ill keep practicing. hope ya like.

Here is my animatic. i said this dialogue over and over so many times, and i think im still not happy with it haha, i kinda like this animatic, even though its not perfect. its gonna look so much more different in 3d! ooooh i cant wait :) sorta.

This is my attempt at a self caricature, i struggled at exaggerating myself, but it does sorta look like me so its ok. Im going to be making a 3d lip-sync with it next year. oh ya, i did a character turn around but i dont really like it, i rushed through that

I did this painting for one of my classes, it was really nice to get into things. It is still work in progress, will be posting the final version sometime soon. This painting is really just an excuse for me to try out this dramatic kind of pose i keep seeing and work on her portrait, i love painting portraits..

Iv been doing alot of new work these days, recently i just finished a visual development assignment for school in my Drawing for animators class, here is some of what came from that exploration, it is the most useful thing i have done all year because it just has so much room for creative designs, environments and characters i suppose.

here is an animation i finished today, not done but today was the deadline, and i highly doubt i will go back to it....it is my last animation with good ol artie, a character made by one of my instructors. (animation, lighting, sound and textures by me. this is rendered on low quality at the moment)

I was just sketching and came up with this, (i have a dress like this :) ) i really could add more detail and fix the lighting but i don't know how much i like this anymore..

oh, and i also did this today, trying to get that nice rendered face, gave up on it though. i might go at it more later. haha, the pose in the front is pretty awkward. i kinda want to fix this now.. hmm

Ok, I am going to try a bit harder to post frequently that way ill get better too! here is a tree i painted yesterday (watercolors and a little random photoshop)(i didnt get far coz it started to rain) iv been wanting to do a study of environments, i guess this is one step closer, lol.annd, here is a random lady i tried to paint in photoshop today (got to get better at this! and faster, it took me about an hour though.)

This is a door i helped paint for a door for a house that was just built. (habitat for humanity) On the left is Esther's original lovely design and on the right is how we ended up painting the door :) teamwork!

This piece was done for a class project. I really had fun with this, it is all about how in this day we are constantly surrounded by images from the media, guided less by our parents but more by our television. The power symbol can be seen from the birds eye view in the last image on the right.
